Privacy notice

This notice explains how we use the details you give us on openfloor.uk. It covers this website only. When a university or other organisation uses the Open Floor platform, a separate data processing agreement with that organisation covers its staff survey data.

Who we are

Open Floor is a product of Ridgeway Civic, which is responsible for your details under UK data protection law. You can contact us at hello@openfloor.uk.

What we collect

This website has no forms and no sign-up. It does not use cookies, advertising or tracking. You can download our research paper without giving us any details.

• When you visit: like any website, our host receives your internet address and basic browser details so that it can send you the page. We do not use these to identify you.
• When you email us: whatever you choose to send. We use it to reply to you and keep it only as long as we need to for that.

Who handles it for us

This website is hosted on Microsoft Azure. The page's font is loaded from Google Fonts, so Google receives your internet address when the page loads. Email to hello@openfloor.uk is handled by Microsoft 365. These companies act only on our instructions or under their own published terms. Where they process data outside the UK, they do so under safeguards recognised by UK data protection law.

Your rights

You can ask to see the details we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete them, object to how we use them, or ask us to stop contacting you. Email hello@openfloor.uk and we will reply within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your details, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
